The Brown is a 4 piece rod constructed with an 8 weight rod blank for targeting bigger fish in larger water. The moderate-fast action allows for long, accurate casts of large, articulated streamers, even in windy conditions. It's also effective casting sink-tip lines.   Measuring at 9 feet, The Brown mends line quickly and accurately to keep your fly in the strike zone longer. It has a fighting butt to help fight the big one.
